Installations

Exhibition “Installations” took place at the City Gallery in Wrocław.

Renata Micherda-Jarodzka visited Poland for this exhibition, coming from Toronto, Canada, where she lived from 1988.

“It is really satisfying that the artistic milieu in Toronto has been gradually more unified. An exceptional artist, Kazimierz Głaz’s activities and patronage has played a significant part in this unification. I think that this exhibition proves that it is possible to combine art that has already been recognized internationally with art in statu nascendi, which is still in the process of becoming and seeking recognition. I am convinced that “the essence of things” of Kazimierz Głaz will collaborate with “the uncertainty of things” of Renata Jarodzka.

The works displayed during this exhibition are objects made of metal and raw canvas paintings. The combination of clear, metal plates with surfaces covered with rust, cement, or metal cloth creates three-dimensional space. The artistic sensibility is best conveyed through the use of those raw materials.”
